Craziness
With the wedding almost a week away some things are coming together and others are falling apart terribly. I was excited because everything was finally starting to work out. WAS! Alan was able to pick up his tux today even though it's super early since it was already ready. He e-mailed me a picture of it and when it came up Curt got upset because it was the wrong tux. He wanted pinstripped and it's not. The tux is the only thing that Curt cared about in this wedding so it really sucks that it's not going right. I've left a message with the corporate office to see if there's anything we can do to fix it all, but I have to wait till tomorrow to do anything else about it. I'd like him to be happy if at all possible so I can't just say "oh well" and move on without attempting to do something about it. Hopefully it will be easy, but I've learned that few things ever are.
My final to do list:
- Make 30 more red candies
- Make 20 more pink candies (not much considering I've made 100's of them)
- Pack all our junk
- Clean the house
- Get the animal stuff ready for the person watching them
- Check on the hotel
- Finalize the reception
- Pick a place to eat after the rehersal
- Put all of the favors together
- Deal with the tuxedos
- Write thank you cards
- Get a garter
- Clean the rings
- Get the marriage license
- Make sure I get my mother to remember everything she's supposed to bring
- Avoid phone calls from anyone complaining about seating charts or calling to add stress
- And, finally, remember anything else that I'm forgetting before I get on a plane. =)
